Its been a year.. how time flies by and we've been silenced for the past year?
Not really.. we've been working on some Animation shows, ABC MONSTER, BOLA KAMPUNG, XIOLIN SHOWDOWN, IRON KID, ALAMAYA, SUPASTRIKA... which has kept us busy.
Now we're moving towards concentrating on building our strengths which is MUSIC.
So the blog is gonna start with blogging our journey towards music releases which we're hoping to achieve!.

The highlights shifted to S.U.P.A's mtv by Animasia
S.U.P.A which stands for “Super Unique Producers Around” was formed in late 2007. Having had performed at the recent Heineken Music Event (Impulse)-together with influences of trance, rock and funk in their music style, S.U.P.A aspires to collaborate with new and established talents from around the region to possibly synergize their musical odyssey across the globe.
The higlights of the evening....
We were serenaded throughout the evening by Serene Cheam, Mei Chern & Rendra.
Purple Houz Grand Launch 10 December 2008
Wednesday 10th December 2008- Purple Houz Productions celebrated the lunch of their brand new sound design studio in the heart of Petaling Jaya.
Inaugurated with a brief speech by Francis Cobb-Executive Producer of Purple Houz; the event followed through with show reels that show case their music production portfolio and later the highlight gradually shifted to S.U.P.A’s brand new music video.
We hope to make an impact that states music does speak the same language across different regions and cultures which is clearly reflected in their current debut project featuring artists from different genres reflecting their own individuality.
The inaugural event attended by almost 200 guests included clients, business partners, local artistes as well as media representatives. Co-hosted by Navin-Managing Director of Purple Houz Productions, guests nibbled on canapés and aperitifs while being serenaded with performances by Rendra, Mei Chern and Serene Cheam.
The event was indeed a seamless studio launch celebration for Purple Houz Productions.

Producer's Log 2
Throne Away - Terminals
Hi, Good Evening,
Sel here from the mixing desk of purple houz, this week I would like to showcase our artist of the month Throne Away whom just completed their full length live album. Throne Away is an aggressive rock group consisting of guitarist Ian Koren, drummer Rudy Khaw and front man Emir.
The song which will be featured here is my favorite and its called Terminals. Terminals is a straight forward rock song with hooky riffs and catchy verses, plus, it has an atmospheric, comedic and intriguing bridge.
The whole concept for Throne Away’s album production is an aggressive approach which means no prominent and intricate editing, auto tuning or polishing, rather in a nutshell, what you hear is what you get. There were only minor soundscaping for the intro and bridge parts, which we did it on the spot during mixing.
