Mix Master Dubbing Project

This is how its done!! :

Tanne one of our Translators, Translate the English Script to Malay... (well she normally has the script infront of her, but i think she's just taking some r&r from finishing the episode not too long ago)


Julz has all the script in-front of him in order to match the recording to the animation.

Talent ZUL sits in the other room awaiting his cue from the animation on the screen.

Here's another look from the inside.

IN the studio View. We have 2 screens showing the animation in order for both sides to lip sync to the visual. We try to pace ourselves to finish each character 1 episode in a day. We have 39 more episodes to go. Broadcasting schedules for the 1st episode should be out this coming June.

The Making of the DOOODOLLS Anime- IS BACK

OK after so long we finally got the full rough 3d anime from our partners to complete the DOOODOLLS Promo due out this weekend.

Here's some pictures of the making of the Anime.

OK now the PROCESS:

First Step: Meditate and relax.... feel the dolls in you in order to compose the right song for the dolls..

Step 2: Now get onto the computer and start programming some tracks in......with the dolls having full QC over it all....

STep 3: The Arrangement window. As you can see its colorful and it has quite a number of tracks. LOGIC PRO 8 is what we use. Love the program! Love the MAC too...

Step 4: Let the Dolls have the final say before we move on...





Step 5: The control room... where Julz will get into his mode of feeling what the doll wants before he can add in the effects and sound design the master piece!

Step 6: "Ok Ninja... is this how you're supposed to sound???"..........

Step 7: OK dolls take a rest while Julz will sound design the effects in and your voices. Till the next day where Sel will come in and work on the final mix.....

Opppsss.......Good morning Mahani!..... she visits us this morning with nothing but a smile and her handphone instead today. A meeting she has to discuss some things with Alda. an UPcoming performance if i'm not mistaken.

OK now she looked more cheery when she first walked in. While Alda is trying to view a dvd she brought in to present to the client. Alda does look like he knows whats he doing.... i think.

Our Kakak who's a little camera shy. comes in normally during mid day to clean up our mess. If it wasnt for her, the place wouldnt be as neat as how it should be. For real....sometimes we feel she should just stay in 24/7.

OK now this doesnt happen to often.. Ms Serene Cheam's car tire went flat. So the boys decided to help out.... and Yes this is actually Sel's first time changing a tire.

i'm still wondering whether they are thinking the same thing or someone said something which err.. confused the other?.... however in the end... great results normally do come out from these 2 talented individuals.

We welcome our New Purple Team Member

Purple Houz Welcomes our new team member to the purple studio. JULIAN LIM aka JULZ, JUJU another BASS player....yes the attack of the bassist... who is our Assistant Sound Engineer. He's helping out with laying down a bass track for one of s.u.p.a songs featuring Melina. This may be the 1st single due out in a couple of weeks... if all goes well..

IACT College visits

Some of us was interviewed by IACT college students for their assignment on "The English Local Music INdustry". They interviewed Frans and Hazri. We were really glad to help give our views on our current industry. Malaysia BOLEH!

Poor Musos

Yours truly got the chance to busk in Melbourne Australia. It was something i always wanted to do. SO with kevin(broken scar) and armed with our guitars, we hit the streets and started playing our originals.

You gotta make sure your all tuned up.
